Jasmine Olins joined Fort Point Associates, Inc. (FPA) as an Urban/Environmental Planner in 2023, bringing experience in sustainable design, coastal resilience, urban planning, and geospatial analysis. Jasmine supports various urban and environmental planning and permitting projects in coastal resiliency, public infrastructure, clean energy deployment and institutional master planning. She works with municipalities’ climate resiliency planning, as well as non-profit, State, and private development, including supporting community engagement for projects. She has worked to prepare both local and state environmental documentation, including the City of Boston’s Article 80 regulatory process, Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA), Chapter 91 Waterways and Wetlands Protection Act.
Prior to joining FPA, Jasmine worked as an intern at the Cape Cod Commission, focusing on projects related to natural resources, coastal resilience, and wetlands regulations on Cape Cod. She also worked as a planning intern with Principle Group, LLC in Boston, where she supported a wide range of community planning and design projects, engaged with communities around the Boston area and worked on master planning and design.
Jasmine received a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University in Environmental Studies and Economics in 2019, and a Master of Arts in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning at Tufts University in 2023, completing a master’s thesis is aimed at providing coastal resiliency recommendations for sea level rise, erosion, coastal storms, and flooding on Cape Cod. Jasmine is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA).
