FPA was retained by XSS Hotels to obtain approvals from the Army Corps of Engineers, Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act Office, Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Chapter 91 program, and the Chelsea Conservation Commission for the construction of a hotel in Chelsea, MA. The hotel site is located just a 10-minute drive from Logan International Airport and downtown Boston. FPA worked closely with the development team and responded to the concerns of the local neighborhood group to secure approvals for this 124-room, full-service hotel, which includes a restaurant and a pedestrian path along Mill Creek.
