Robert Ricchi, AICP, LEED AP, Senior Planner

Rob Ricchi joined Fort Point Associates, Inc. in 2013 and has since managed complex environmental permitting requirements for mixed-use, transit-oriented development proposals in urban and waterfront settings around the Boston area. He brings over ten years' experience in planning, permitting, and project management from various settings including municipal government, educational institutions, and in an engineering and land development consulting firm. His diverse project background includes land use and environmental permitting at the city, state, and federal levels; sustainability and LEED analysis; university campus master/transportation planning; planning for bicycle and pedestrian and transit networks; transportation demand management planning; and implementation of the Massachusetts Community Preservation Act to fund affordable housing, historic preservation, open space protection, and recreation projects.

Mr. Ricchi's professional involvement has included membership in the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Planning Association, and the US Green Building Council, as well as a current appointment to the Cambridge, MA Transit Advisory Committee. He earned a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Boston College.
